Eve Carefoot
Operations Manager – Cladding
Boasting 25 years of excellence as a team member and leader at Custom Metal Contracting, Eve has a powerful and well-rounded skillset. Her skillset includes estimation, negotiation, client communication, timeline and project management (to name a few). As an operations manager she blends those skills to perfectly execute her jobs on a variety of CMC projects.
Some of the notable projects Eve’s worked on have been the University of Calgary’s EEEL Building (Energy, Environment and Experiential Learning Building), the Dorian Building in downtown Calgary, and the International Facilities Project (IFP) expansion at the Calgary Airport.
The IFP expansion was the largest project the company had ever completed at the time. 26 contracts, 4 scopes of work, 5 years overall. It was a great experience, and our team was amazing on all levels.
Overseeing the daily operations for all project management, Eve notes how much the CMC team enjoys what they do, and just how talented they are. She is an experienced and valued leader, encouraging those she oversees to become better every day at their individual crafts. She also highlights the experience of the clients & customers, helping to ensure they have a seamless experience where they leave happy, with the project completed above and beyond expectations.
Eve looks forward to the future of CMC, and constantly pushes the whole organization to take on new projects and new challenges which, in turn, keeps our team moving onwards and upwards.
